Happy New Year!

Here are pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. We had such a special first Christmas with Moses. It is so fun watching him experience all these "first" things. Noah made our Christmas meal as his final Home Ec project and it was delicious! What great timing for this with all our family changes!
We wish you all a very Happy New Year! May God bless you!

A Week of GOOD News!

This week we found that my nephew, Jude, will be coming home very soon!!!! My sister Mary, and brother in law, Michael, leave for China on November 21st. Please pray for Jude as he prepares to meet his Daddy and Mommy and their trip. See his adorable picture! We can't wait meet this sweet boy! We are so excited! If you want to follow their trip, their blog is  http://room4more.org/ .
This week we had Moses's orthopedic appointment and got some good news about his leg. The surgery, if he needs it, will only be removing tissue and not bone. We have another appointment in a week to see if a prosthetic will fit over his leg now. If not, the surgery will be after the holidays. This is such encouraging news! Also, Hannah had an appointment for her asthma and the doctor was so pleased with how much better she is doing!
And lastly, we celebrated Moses's baby dedication this week at our church. It was a special time and we had many family and friends there to support us. Moses was quite the ham on stage. He was waving to the people and loving the attention.
We are praising God for all these reports and His hand over each of these things! Thank you God!

Some highlights from my week.....

I love seeing my kiddos in their costumes every year! It's always a highlight for me!
Jason and Noah ran a 5K to help raise money for orphans through Orphan World Relief. They had a great time even though it was freezing cold. It's such a highlight seeing them do things together, especially with the heart to help orphans!(Yes, Noah is finally taller than Jason) One more highlight, even though I didn't get a picture, was taking my girls out for a "Girls Day Out". We had a great time shopping and getting a sweet treat. Happy November!

My Birthday Boys

We celebrated a late birthday for Moses(August 26th) and Noah's birthday together this past weekend. We had family in town and it was such a special time. It's hard to believe that Noah is 15! We are so proud of how hard he's been working in school these days and really helping out at home. He's been cooking us some amazing meals...does Home Ec have to end this semester??? Moses really enjoyed his birthday party. It was fun to see the excitement in his face at all the "new" experiences. He is a full of life little guy and we are enjoying all these firsts, too! Happy Birthday Boys!
