Last weekend we all headed to Natural Bridge, KY. It was a special time with Julie's side of the family. The kids had so much fun playing and fishing. It rained most of the day Saturday, so our activities were limited. We had a great time anyways!

Snow Day/ Lunch with Ron

Here are a few pictures from a snow day we had a few weeks ago. The kids had a blast!(including the BIG kid) The other picture is from our lunch with Ron, Jason's brother. He is a truck driver and we do not get to see him often. He called the other day and said he'd be coming through Columbus and we were very excited that we could meet up with him. The last time we were able to take him out when he came through Columbus was 6 years ago when Abbey was still in my belly about a week before she was due. We were remembering that we were given a booth to eat at and I could hardly fit in it!

Winter Camp Weekend

The boys were at winter camp this weekend. This was Noah's first year to attend. It is a camp through our church for 2nd- 5th graders. Jason was Noah's camp counselor and it sounds like they had a great time. I'm not sure how much sleep they got, but Noah cannot stop talking about the fun he had! The picture of Jason is from the "decorate your counselor contest".

Seeing Kaeli

Hannah got to see her friend Kaeli last night at dinner. Kaeli is her friend from the Hepu Orphange in China. The Huffs were in town for some appointments and we were so glad that we could have dinner with them. It was fun to catch up and see how the girls were doing. The girls gave each other kisses goodbye and we just couldn't pass up getting a picture!

Birthday Girl

This weekend we had Abbey's birthday party. She spent the first part of the morning at the doctor's office. She had a pretty high fever the night before and was complaining of a sore throat. Thankfully she's better, but wasn't feeling her best at the party. She had fun, though! We had a Narnia party and she enjoyed having her family there to celebrate with her. Thanks everyone for making the trip. Happy 6th birthday Abbey!

Happy 6 months of Hannah!

It has been 6 months(today)since Hannah was put in our arms. It has been a very sweet time and we thank God for her! The crying picture is on our way back to our hotel on "gotcha day". You can see she's come along way from that scared little girl to a silly, happy, dancing girl! I think she may have the skills to become a riverdancer! The other picture is of her at home playing dress up with Abbey.

Last night we went to the Columbus zoo for the Wildlights display. There are soooooo many lights. It was really beautiful and the kids had a blast.(We did, too!) As bundled up as the kids look in the picture, it really was a warm night. The temperature here in Columbus reached a high of 60 degrees. Is it December???? Today we made cookies and decorated them. Hannah was trying to get in on the decorating, too.

Christmas in PA, Doylestown and home

The last few weeks we have been traveling to celebrate Christmas with our families. The weekend after Thanksgiving we went to Pennsylvania for hunting season and Christmas with the Pierces. We had so much fun! Hunting season at the Pierces is a great time to hear old hunting stories and Jason especially looks forward to hanging out at the treestands with the guys. The following weekend we headed to Doylestown(Julie's hometown) to have Christmas with the Johnson's. It was a special time there, too, as we ate really good food and way too many Christmas cookies. The kids loved tearing into their Christmas presents at both places and enjoyed playing with their cousins! Now that we are home this weekend, it was time for the "Pierce family Christmas tree cutting down day". Thankfully the weather was beautiful and we picked out a great one. We had a wonderful time decorating it, too!

The kids had so much fun dressing up, getting candy, and seeing some of the animals. Then, we had a "sports" pizza party. It was alot of fun. The kids got MORE candy in the pinata. The 60th Birthday party.....

This weekend we went to PA for Jason's dad's 60th birthday party. It was a surprise, but we think he knew something was coming. It was a great time. The kids had so much fun dancing the "chicken dance." Hannah was getting into the dancing groove, too. We were watching the weather this week and saw that it could snow on Thursday. (SNOW in October!!!!) We thought we'd better get Hannah a winter coat. She is modeling it in the picture. By the way, Noah's soccer team won their game on Sunday. YEAH!!!!
